Currently, using "...changes its color to a ''color'' ''species''" is saying that you're changing the color to a color that is named after the species. Writing "''Doing this'' changes it to ''this color or pattern'' would make more sense; alternatively, "''Doing this'' changes the ''species'' to ''this color or pattern''. --Photon Turtle

Since this is the premier Viva Pinata information site on the Interet at the moment (and I can't imagine that changing), contributors should remember that people with varying English comprehension skills will use it to help them accomplish their in-game goals.
