The small white petals around the in-game clock are your experience meter. As you gain new awards, they will turn blue as they go around clockwise and you gain a level once the circle is complete. On higher levels, little blue beads will appear on the leaves meaning you have to go around the clock that many times before you level up. Each time you fill up the circle one of the blue beads will disappear.

Once all the beads have been removed, you must make one more complete circle of blue petals to level. Experience Petals

The small white petals around the in-game clock are your experience meter. As you gain awards, the petals will turn blue in a clockwise direction.
