Category talk:Aquatic
What's your definition of Aquatic? I've seen a Pretztail cross water to get into a garden with Whirlm. Does that make it aquatic? Or does it need some kind of requirement related to water? --Teker0 21:19, 2 March 2007 (EST)
I dont get why Pretztail & Whirlm would be aquatic at all. What do you mean? :\ Aquatic would just be those species that require water I would imagine. ~ Kaya 21:36, 2 March 2007 (EST)
Sorry, I meant Pretztail crossing water to get to Cluckles. My question was does the ability to cross water/swim make Pretztail Aquatic? Salamango is on the list, but it doesn't require water. --Teker0 22:09, 2 March 2007 (EST)
Ya, I dunno. I guess cause you have to have a Newtgat to get a Salamango and Newtgats require water :D lol, I'm stumped.~ Kaya 23:35, 2 March 2007 (EST)
If we base it on the requirment of water we need to take the Salamango off of the list. The Claw 00:35, 3 March 2007 (EST)
I removed Salamango. I think we should definately stay away from "that which can cross water" unless it's obvious. In another garden I watched Squazzil cross, then get stuck. I watched Pretztail again and it couldn't cross. It just seems like sometimes glitches happen and pinata cross water and sometimes glitches don't happen and the pinata don't cross. --Teker0 14:07, 4 March 2007 (EST)
An aquatic Pinata is one that passively swims in the water, not to just get to somewhere across a river. Aquatic Pinata tend to swim in water to enjoy themselves and if there is no house for that Pinata, the Pinata often sleeps in the water if the amount of water is large enough. I have tested this and now this should be used as a guideline to classify aquatic Pinata. One extra thing: I have never seen a Salamango swim in water. --Eiyuu Kou 15:12, 4 March 2007 (EST)
Shouldn't the Custacean also go in this section? I don't believe I am able to add this one. Just something I came across:) --ImaTestWentBad 02:41, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Good catch, we all missed that one! You should be able to add it to this category by editing the Custacean article and adding {{Category-Species-Aquatic}} at the very bottom of the article. --FeralKitty (talk) 05:23, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
