There are four life stages that every pinata can go through:
- Appear in your world - This is a wild pinata that has appeared in your world, but is still outside your garden.
- Visit your garden - They enter the boundaries of your garden, but are still wild
- Become a resident - They come alive with color, and you can actually begin to direct their actions and even rename them.
- Romance - For any pinata species, you'll only get two that will come in and become residents. To get more, those two must perform a romance dance.
