Wait... If I find a topic that's NOT already on here how do I add it? I don't right now, but maybe in the future.

Adding a new topic
One of the easiest ways to add a new topic is to just add it to the end of the URL (after the viva/)... so http://pinataisland.info/viva/New_topic would create an article called "New topic" for you to edit.
Another way is just to add a link to an existing page. If you add [[New topic]] to an existing page, then the New topic link will let you create it.

To Do page
My To Do list is getting a bit too long to remember. I thought about adding a list to my User page, but I didn't want to make it seem like others couldn't work on them. What do you think of creating a To Do page? --FeralKitty 20:07, 21 October 2006 (EDT)
Jim has got to give you go ahead but I'm going to put some "notes" on the little O.P.B. page. --Spartan 20:43, 21 October 2006 (EDT)
A 'To Do' page sounds like a great idea. --Jimmcq 03:07, 22 October 2006 (EDT)
Can I put stuff on the to do list?

Problems with personal pages
My gamertag is "deKay 01", and the space breaks the auto-generated Gamercard on my personal page. Any idea how to fix it? deKay 16:06, 6 January 2007 (EST)
And of course, I've just realised if I replace the space with %20 it works fine. deKay 16:08, 6 January 2007 (EST)
Pinataisland.info:Help desk ?
What do you think about creating a help desk for people to ask questions? Also, can we make it so that PII: can be used as a shortcut for Pinataisland.info: the way WP: is a shortcut for Wikipedia: ? –xenocidic (talk) 19:34, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Jim prefers questions to be asked on the forum. More people would see the question, and be able to answer it sooner. If you open the wiki up to questions, you get all sorts of game-related questions too. I don't see a need to setup a shortcut. :Also, I think some people might not know what PII stands for, but when it's spelled out, it's obvious. I think keeping things simple is best, and it keeps links consistent. --FeralKitty (talk) 09:59, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- kk. my suggestion for the shortcut is related to my followup question: Do you think we should start putting "player organizations", etc. into the PII namespace, the way wikiprojects are in the WP namespace? Or are we ok with them being in the mainspace? –xenocidic (talk) 10:44, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think the forum is better for asking questions. As for Player Organizations, I think all of the current ones have died off. Any new ones should probably be created as a forum Social Group instead of a wiki page. --Jimmcq 15:04, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good. Shall I
deleteany leftover player org articles? –xenocidic (talk) 15:35, 26 August 2008 (UTC) - PMGco is the only project that was anywhere close to active, created by PINATAcast and last edited in June, 2008. Since it's the last remaining member of Category:Player Organization, should we move it and/or decategorize it, and delete the category? –xenocidic (talk) 15:53, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
