My wife went to put a "Halo of Hardness" on a Chewnicorn and it took her to a separate menu asking to pick a color. The color seems to just change the color of the ribbon hanging from the halo. Has anyone else seen this or something similar with other accessories/pinata? --Teker0 22:51, 2 February 2007 (EST)

I personally would like to see more info in the table format. I recommend columns something like this: Price (at shop), Value (the Value added to your pinata for equipping), Criteria (Level / Unlockable ./ etc.), Customizable (blank for most, or "X" for an accessory that allows you to pick a color), Special Traits.

Other notes: an accessory obtained by purchasing an Accessory Pack or by entering an unlock code may still have a minimum level to show up in the shop? (Haven't verified). To Teker0: several accessories allow you to choose a color, off the top of my head the Bunny Slippers and the Toff Monocle. However, on the Bunny Slippers it seems to make no difference what color you pick - "Default" is gray, and any other color is bright white. --VrtraTheory-2063 14:58, 29 June 2007 (EDT)

I notice that it says 33K and it may have trouble edit for some. Trouble is that I was only half done with the TiP tab. I planned on finishing it in a day or so. Is it wise to even split up the page like it says to do at the top of the edit screen? I am not even sure how. Am I making the tables to big or something? --ImaTestWentBad 06:13, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Accessories on TiP tab

Hi I was just looking around in the accessories page in TiP tab and found that it looks incorrect to me. Almost like the information is just listed the same as the Classic version of VP. I found a guide that lists the correct prices and garden levels and can also get the information from the game itself mostly. Unless of course, I am looking at the "levels" incorrectly as I was before with the plants pages. However, this time it doesn't have any similarities with what I have. Sounds like the TiP information probably is wrong. Please feel free to update it, by all means. By the way, it's ok to ask these questions on each article's talk page. Things are looking good! The only change we may want to try is to use (Credits) and (Region) (once the details are at the Langston's Destination Challenges article) in the Available at column, similar to how the Classic tab was done, so the column is not stretched so much.

The other trivial detail is the alignments. If they can now be set once, column-wide, instead of having to (inconsistently) repeat them every row, that would be nice. --FeralKitty (talk) 07:32, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

That looks much better with the links you put in! I like the columns being not so wide now. Do you think it might help to replace the # of the gardener level with the words Gardener level blah blah so as to even up the width of that column? That way we can just remove the alignment code center all together. Thanks. Hmm... I think the available column is better with just the number, for a few reasons:

1. Less is more. The important detail is the value, and it's faster to visually see that information, than have to read past a couple words to get to the details.
2. The column heading already explains what the value is. It's better to avoid repeating information, both from having to read it over and over, and having to maintain it.
3. Since the column is already a certain width, due to the wider column heading, we should take advantage of the natural whitespace provided by just displaying the number, which makes it easier on the eye, than cells packed left-border to right-border with text.

As for the price, it's generally more convenient to visually scan a column of prices, when values are right-aligned. It makes it easier to spot high-value accessories, if someone needed to boost a pinata's value. We had already tried center alignment pricing in the past, but it's just not as convenient to scan, IMO. Of course, the tables could easily be made sortable. Would that be worth doing?

On a completely unrelated topic, perhaps we should rename the 'Special traits' column to something more general like 'Notes?' Only a few items confer special traits; most of the other column data is uses or trivia.
