Ruffian

Profile

The Ruffians are a group of menacing Piñata poachers on the island led by Professor Pester.

They are humanoid characters who will do their worst to spoil your garden and must be dealt with.

A Ruffian will show up and take away your helpers if they become trapped in your garden.

If there is water in the way of a Ruffian they will "throw up" land to make a bridge and leave the garden.

Ways to deal with Ruffians

• You can scare them away by whacking them with the upgraded shovel.
• Buying a Captains Cutlass (at level 30) for the garden will scare (keep) them away.
• If you bribe them with chocolate coins (as soon as they enter your garden), they will leave your garden.
• If you have a Mallowolf, you can direct it to howl at them and scare them off (unlocking an achievement).
