You can purchase nightshade seeds, or nightshade berries from Costolot's General Store, or try talking with Seedos to get a nightshade seed.
How best to grow it
Use 3 applications of purple fertilizer. Unlike most trees, you only can apply fertilizer when the tree has buds. Look for the small green buds that appear on the tips of the branches. The fertilizer has to be applied in the short time between these buds appearing and the bush shedding them.

Nightshade seed uses
- Feeding a nightshade seed and a bottle of milk to a Salamango changes its color to a white variant.
Nightshade berry uses
- Eating 2 nightshade berries helps meet the Fourheads Romance requirements.
- Feeding a nightshade berry to a Lickatoad is part of evolving it into a Lackatoad.
- Feeding a nightshade berry to a Rashberry changes its color to a purple variant.
- Feeding a bluebell flower and a nightshade berry to a Parrybo change its color to a blue variant.
