When you feed a Buttercup to a "White Flutterscotch" it becomes a species named "Yellow Flutterscotch" which is a little strange because its more like an evolve than a standard variant... others don't seem to behave this way.  --Jimmcq 12:21, 11 November 2006 (EST)

Woah, there's a lot of different colours for the flutterscotch. Treated differently than all the other species? -- Ramen 14:11, 11 November 2006 (EST)

The Flutterscotches are treated differently than the other pinata. Each 'variant' is actually an evolution into a different species. Look in the encyclopedia; the variant fields for the White Flutterscotch are each X'd out and each color you've discovered will have its own entry in the species list. Also, I've attracted three White Flutterscotches into my bug garden by changing the color of each one as it becomes a resident. I think most pinatas stop coming once you have two of the same species. --Pure
