Accessories can be obtained in the Xbox 360 game via shops and the Xbox Live Marketplace. They are used to customize your piñatas. In addition to those pictured to the right, other accessories include: football helmets, candy cigars, a viking helmet, and afro wigs.

Many accessories have special functions such as protection or even meeting requirements for romance, but others are just for looks.

Accessories can be lost if the pinata wearing them has his candy stolen by a creature higher up the food chain.
