Currency

The currency in the game is foil-wrapped chocolate coins. You can get currency by smashing ruined garden pieces, or by trading in your piñata. You may also sell resources that are produced, such as apples from an apple tree, or possibly even a Buzzlegum's honey. Another resource that you can obtain and sell is candy from a broken pinata. Be careful about smashing them open yourself, however, because there will be consequences. (Also a pinata is worth more, when traded, than you'd get by breaking it open and selling its candy.)

You need to pay helpers with chocolate coins in order to keep them happy, and if they're not satisfied, they'll walk off the job. Currency can also be used to buy new things for your pinata orgarden from the shop. It should be noted that there are bronze, silver and gold coins, gold probably being worth the most.
