On the box art, I noticed to the left of the word Viva Pinata three snow peaked mountains. Just a decoration? or possibility of snow?
Snow
There is a larger version of the box art linked here.
I seem to recall one of the interviews mentioning new areas with different conditions you could encounter as your garden grows. One of these may be a mountain/snow area.
