User Interface concept mockups

Since the game will now be a universal app, mockups are for the smaller iPhone/iPod screen.

The app's objective is to be fun and entertaining, so it makes sense to start the user right off in a garden (and bypass any New garden/Load garden choices).

The focus should be on the garden, and the garden experience should be as "immersive" as possible, so the garden/borders should take up the entire screen.

Since a new user is starting off right in the garden, with possibly no idea what to do, the app shouldn't present them with a lot of confusing controls/choices.

Why portrait orientation?

When scrolling through a table view of shop items (or Encyclopedia entries about piñatas), portrait shows more (9-1/2) visible rows without scrolling. Landscape only shows 6 table rows, and the cells would be unnecessarily wide for short item names (e.g., apple, banana, orange).
