Thank you for your contributions, but this is not the place to post your imaginary content. You are welcome to suggest your 'rumors' in the forums. --Jimmcq

Rumor Ban

So I was just wondering if I'll get an apology from you when the "imaginary" content turns true?

I'm providing information that I know is accurate, at fairly great risk, only to get my work deleted and then banned for a day -- which I consider to be rude. I would expect that, when you finally understand that I was correct, you won't be so hasty to ban me for offering a preview.

Unless of course, you work for Rare, in which case, you know that what I posted is accurate, but you don't want me spoiling the characters for the future. I could understand this, but if it is the case, then understand why I'm offended by your use of "imaginary" above, especially considering you would know as well as I that what I posted was real.

Don't take it personally and I mean no offense, but people often add bogus content to this site, and without any sort of confirmation I'm sorry, but I can't treat yours any differently. I hope that soon your contributions can be confirmed and re-instated, but until then you're best to post in the forums where it can be discussed. I am sorry that the ban was necessary, but it was only temporary. When you continued to re-add the content when asked not to, there wasn't any other option. --Jimmcq

Wiki Issues

The problem is, this is my first Wiki that I've ever worked on -- I put a lot of time in it, and I didn't think to check my own page after posting information I thought was helpful -- all I saw was that my post was "eaten up" by the Wiki.

While I was trying to add a new page (it took me about an hour to figure out that to add a page, you just edit a non-existing one), I got lots of prompts saying I wasn't logged in, not verified, etc., and that it wouldn't post it.

I also saw something saying that my posts aren't actually added to the wiki; instead, they are added to something with the browser's cache of the wiki, and I wanted to see if the post actually worked.

So I switched from Firefox to IE (figuring the cache would be different on the same computer from a different browser) to see my work in IE. And it was gone.

So I figured, the cache of Firefox which was showing my previous edits, didn't actually make it up because of the login issues (I logged in on one tab in Firefox and edited with another tab), so I cut and pasted my edits from notepad (I did my edits in notepad because of all the logins) and pasted it via IE, hoping to view it in Konqueror on my main server later on. The *second* time I logged in, using IE, is when I noticed that I had new messages, and by that time, I couldn't respond to it, because I had already been banned.

So from my point of view, it was an uphill battle to fight with the wiki software just to post in the first place, compounded by what I thought was weird browser issues, and finally being k/lined, and that led to the messages you've seen.

Is all my work gone from the Addon page? I still have a notepad document of some of it, but not any more, and of course, all my browser caches don't have it anymore .. Does the page still exist somewhere? In a "deleted:Addons" page or something like that? The reason I ask, is when these packs come out, I'd like it to be noted that I posted information about it first.

Anyway -- thanks for clearing it up from your perspective. BTW: What do you think of the idea I posted on your talk page? About the romance maze pictures? Would it be too much bandwidth use? Or do you think it would be helpful?
