The Tilde

As much as I have been championing for consistency in the wiki... there is one little feature that I'm not too worried about keeping consistent. It's that little squiggle accent over the N, the tilde. As a matter of fact this is one of the few cases where I want to champion for INconsistency.

The problem is that most search engines treat characters with and without the accent as different. Google is pretty smart about handling this correctly (and returning both as results) but many other search engines do not.

If we change every instance of pinata (without the tilde) to piñata (with the tilde) then people searching for pinata won't find the wiki (and nobody searches with the tilde).

So as much as I think the tilde is correct and looks nice, we need to make sure to have enough instances of the word without the tilde. Its OK to mix them on the same page... and you'll see that I've done that on purpose throughout the wiki. I just want to make sure that someone doesn't go through and clean them up in the name of consistency.
