Talk:Ivor Bargain
In Pocket Paradise, Ivor Beggar first requires 1000 chocolate coins (it could be less, but 1000 worked) and then he leaves your garden. Then he comes back requiring some food (a Sandwich, Carrot Cake, and Milk), finally he comes back again requiring some materials (a Jack o' Lantern and some Wool). After receiving all of those he then opens up shop as a section inside Costolot's General Store. --jimmcq 14:44, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Ivor Bargain seems to have traveled away for Trouble in Paradise, but he gave all his stock over to Costolot (he isn't in the game that I've seen, but stuff you used to buy from him is now sold in the General Store). The Captain's Cutlass isn't available until level 35, and it only scares away Ruffians, not Professor Pester. --jimmcq 21:01, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Actually, he is in the game this time around. I added this:
Ivor is in this game, but you have to do a bit of work to get him. First, start a new garden and call it "Piñata People", save and quit, and then view the credits. Pull out your shovel and start smashing the debris first. When you are done smashing the debris, then smash all of the piñatas. Go back to your garden and head to Costolot's store. There you will find the Wishing Well; purchase it and put it in your garden. Ivor will call to you from it after a certain time, and ask for your help. You can give him chocolate coins in exchange for parts, but you have to have Willie build you a storage shed to store the parts in.
I just turned level 36, and I think that's when he calls to you from the well, but I can't be sure, so I didn't include it. Can anyone else get an exact level or event marker for his appearance? --Dnalsi 03:27, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
