I reworked the page a bit. Things were consolidated, moved and reworded. The thumbnails in the Species variants section ended up with a weird white border around them that extends the width of the cells. They're a bit hard to see, but does anyone know how to get rid of them? -Nokboy 01:25, 26 January 2007 (EST)

I added the difference between short and long grass for the dragonaches because I had hatched one without a mane on short grass and when I asked why there was no mane someone said that they had hatched one with a mane on long grass and that they had hatched one without a mane on short grass, however I just got another egg in a different garden and hatched it on long grass but it looks the same as the one I hatched in short grass. Does anybody know how you get the green type with the mane?

There seem to be references on the forum that indicate that all Dragonache are wildcards. So you never know what you're going to get. I've started making a list of the different variant features on my user page based on the wiki pictures. I was thinking it might be useful to get more users to upload pictures so we can study them (not sure how much space the wiki has - maybe I should do this elsewhere). Based on what I've heard, I don't think there is a difference between the short grass and long grass Dragonache. But I only have the pictures that are here on the wiki and the 3 Dragonache that I have (none of which are green). If you look at my user page, you'll see the different mane types I have found.

First of all I highly doubt that all Dragonaches are wildcards, but I may be wrong. Also I have 3 dragonaches, 2 of which are green. I had one hatch on long grass and one on short and they are both the exact same dragon, they both have no manes. I wanted one with a mane and I wasted both of my 'green gardens' as in one is all short grass one is all long grass. The other gardens in my posession are a water one which I already have a water dragonache in (does have a mane) and a forest one which I plan to have a brown dragonache in. So I was also wondering if there is a way to permanantly get rid of a dragonache and then possibly find another egg in a mine, because I had hoped one of my green dragons would have a mane.

Does a Dragonache protect pinatas?

I was reading the Rare Pinata Project page. The Garden Conditions section lists a mature Dragonache as a requirement. Why? Do they somehow protect pinatas?
