Sours don't really have Visit requirements... they come into your garden whether you want them to or not.  --Jimmcq 10:40, 7 November 2006 (EST)

Err... I started removing the Visit requirements section from the sours, then got to the Sherbat sour which had one listed. Oh well, they're just commented out, if it turns out that we need to add a detail back in.  --FeralKitty 16:50, 7 November 2006 (EST)

Should the non-sour Appear requirement say "Have one tamed Shellybean?" Also, I didn't think there were non-sour wild Shellybeans.  --FeralKitty 10:17, 11 November 2006 (EST)

Yeah, my original comment was a little misleading (but I believed it to be true when I wrote it)... Maybe the sherbat is an exception to the rule... I guess we'll find out soon enough.  --Jimmcq 17:02, 7 November 2006 (EST)

See Talk:Sherbat... basically "Sour Shellybean" is technically a different species than "Shellybean" in game.  There are non-sour wilds of the sour species... but you won't see them until you've tamed one of that species already.  --Jimmcq 10:48, 11 November 2006 (EST)

Well, it makes sense though, otherwise, you could "keep" them out of your garden by never including what they needed to visitAnyway, I'm off to work (and vote!)  --FeralKitty 17:30, 7 November 2006 (EST)

I'm quite sure they do eat weeds, including fully grown ones. I once planted two to attract another one in the wild, I already had a tamed one resident. Sooner or later both weeds just vanished, and both were fully grown. They didn't vanished at all when I was raising Fudgehogs when Shellybeans were not around at all. -CrystalSquazzil-3386 18:39, 24 November 2007 (EST)
