Basically anything you see in the game can be packed up into a crate and shipped over Xbox Live. You do not need X-Box Live Gold in order to do this, just a broadband internet connection.
Via the Xbox Live online community, players can contact other gamers to lend a hand, lay down a competitive challenge or trade items.
The only online option available from launch will be the ability to trade pinatas with other people, but with an online update after release you will be able to visit the gardens of other players and invite vistors to yours.
