A wild-card is a very rare pinata that is created while performing a regular romancing process. This is not an evolution of a species. Wild-cards are purely random, and any egg has a chance of being a wild card. The only thing that can help your chances of a wild-card being born is if one or two of the parents themselves are also wild-cards.
Leafos Talk
According to a rumor from Leafos, "On really rare occasions, special pinatas are born. They look different than normal and are a sign of good luck."
When a wild-card is born, Leafos will say, "That's Amazing! There's a one in a million chance that a wild - card piñata is born! It must be your lucky day!"
Special traits
Your rare pinata will have some physical trait that will differ from the rest, e.g., a Moozipan with horns.
Every species has a wild-card version with a larger base value which is increased by 10 times.
Wild-card Hall of Fame
A wild-card is a very rare pinata that is created while performing a regular romancing process. This is not an evolution of a species. The chance of hatching a wild-card is based on skill in the romance mini-game.
Special traits
Each species has three different wild-card versions, with their own physical traits that will differ from the rest, e.g., a Tigermisu with fangs, bushy tail, or mane.
The base value of a wild-card is ??? as much as a normal pinata of that species.
Romance mini-game tips
You can breed Wildcards once you have six pinatas of that species in the garden and are going for a seventh/Master Romancer. When you go into that mini-game you'll notice that all the hearts are flashing. You need to collect all of the hearts before the time runs out to get a Wildcard.
To receive twins, you need to complete the mini-game within a certain time limit. To receive a wildcard, you need to complete the mini-game whilst collecting all the hearts. To receive wildcard twins, you need to complete the mini-game within a certain time limit and whilst collecting all the hearts.
Obtaining all three traits
Everyone can romance to get the first (Classic) trait and one additional trait. To get the missing trait, you will need to find someone who can provide you with one, either by joining their garden and romacing over co-op or hunting down someone to trade with, and then romancing with that traded one.
Trading (either by getting someone to send you one to romance with, or by sending yours to a different gamer's garden and romancing them there) is the only way to get all three traits.
Wild-card Hall of Fame
There are no wild-card versions in Just for Fun mode, because you can't play the romancing mini-game.
It's unknown if wild-cards exist in Pocket Paradise.
We don't know the exact odds (although a poll has helped determine that it may be around 1 in 4000). Some people have been fortunate to get a wild-card while merely trying for a species' Master Romancer award. Others have romanced a species a couple thousand times, without getting one. View thread
Does hatching an egg with a Cluckles increase (or decrease) the chance of getting a WC?
No. The only thing that will increase your chances of getting a wild-card, is if one (or both) of the parents are wild-cards. View thread
