You can purchase sunflower seeds from Costolot's General Store, or try talking with Seedos to get a sunflower seed.
How best to grow it
Use 3 applications of yellow fertilizer immediately after planting it, for maximum effect.

- Feeding a sunflower seed to a Fizzlybear or Roario changes its color to a yellow variant.

- Eating 1 sunflower helps meet the Doenut Romance requirements.
- Eating a sunflower causes the Goobaa to regrow its wool.
- Feeding a sunflower to a Galagoogoo, Raisant, or Sweetooth changes its color to a yellow variant.
