:I agree with you about bloating up the pages.  I like the way they look it the first section.  If I had to choose between the others, I would pick the second over the 3rd.  The info is way too spread out and confusing.  Also I don't know if I like the seeds added to the info boxes at all.  Then, that would leave the plant and produce...which means it wouldn't be complete and those seed cards would only have their link to Lymaniii's user page.  Is that enough, though?  Well, I have mixed feelings about it too.  Personally, I wouldn't scan a seed card because I have them all and I think it's a waste of time getting out the camera.  However, those who just starting out and don't have any seeds may find it useful.  Plus, there is a physical image, and that is good for younger/newer players.  It's a difficult choice for me to make completely one way. --[[User:ImaTestWentBad|ImaTestWentBad]] 03:43, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Need for cards?

For the sake of poor orphaned articles, and for consistency (i.e., species cards are at species pages, it makes sense for plant cards to be at plant pages), the cards should be linked by the infoboxes. I wonder about the practicality and usefulness though. Is it easier and faster to scan a card than use the seed pouch? I've never personally scanned a seed.

I guess if the goal -- is that a goal of the site? -- is to have a complete collection of every possible PV card item, then we can fill up the category with even more cards, but I think that just makes the category more bloated, harder to search or navigate, and compounds existing complaints. I feel like I'm "fixing" an orphan problem because the cards were uploaded because of a solution that hasn't quite solved something, which is why I prefer general solutions, instead of adding some new feature, especially if there's not a need for it.

I've been in favor of less information in Infoboxes, as the species ones can be quite tall, and I'm bothered by sticking more stuff into them. I'd rather clean them up, than bloat them up, so I have mixed feelings about these changes. --FeralKitty (talk) 22:13, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

I agree with you about bloating up the pages. --ImaTestWentBad 03:43, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

That sounds good. Of the three, I also prefer the first. --FeralKitty (talk) 06:15, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Grouped seed card/seed price confusion

Is there a point of confusion between the cost to scan the card, and the cost of (buying or selling) a seed? If we're introducing a third "cost" into the Infobox, which people sometimes fill in wrong, it seems like a lot of work to constantly keep wiki details accurate with game pricing. --FeralKitty (talk) 22:13, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
