Ideas for new species

I think it would be a good idea to have thread where we can post our ideas for new pinata's. When theres an expansion or sequel, which I think there will be at some point even though nothing has been confirmed, maybe Rare will pilfer some of these ideas and feature them ingame. Maybe even run a competition for fans to design a pinata to be featured in the final expansion/game release. Hint hint hehe

Here are my ideas:

Tadpolo
Animal: Tadpole
Candy: Polo Fruits

Can be evolved into a Frog type pinata (haven't come up with a good idea for one yet though). This would also be the smallest pinata in the game at half the size of a whirlm and would only live UNDER water until evolved of course.

The only problem I could see with underwater species is romancing them. Their houses would have to be made so that part of it showed above the top of the water. Maybe a bottle stood up with a piece cut out for the door would be good for a tadpolo.


Meringutan (pronounced mare-ang-you-tan)
Animal: Orangutan
Candy: Meringue

Another one for the monkey/ape types species to conflict with hehe

Animal: Polar Bear
Candy: Polo Mints
