Y Button Tower of Sour Pieces

Just something I've noticed, and was curious about...

Occassionally, when I'm checking my journal, to see how much space I have in my garden, two or three Tower pieces will show up as taking up space.
Then, the next time I check, different pieces will be pictures there, instead.

Does anyone know why that is?
And, why only a couple of pieces show up, instead of the whole tower?

My favourite and final new piece of code for VP. Here's the technical answer...

The garden space can show any object in the game, including visitors, props and things like the tour of sour pieces. Sometimes groups of different objects add up to 1% of the garden space, so the journal will display an icon for one of those objects. However, as the range of objects changes in the garden that icon changes. Say it takes 5 piece of fruit to make 1%, you might have 5 apples and it'll show an apple. You might have another situation where you have 4 apples and 1 banana, it might show a apple but it might show a banana.

Cool!

Thanks for that.

I thought it might be to do with pieces that I've bought instead of earning, or with sours that would be appearing if the blocks weren't activated...

So, even though the Tower isn't actually in your garden, it takes up about 3% of the garden space?

Strange...

Arrh that's where the display can be a bit misleading... You might have 4 apples and the shellybean piece taking up the first 1%. 4 banana's and the next tour piece taking up the second 1% and finally 4 acorns and the next tour piece taking up the third 1%. So the display might show 3% occupied by (different) tower pieces, but the majority of the space is actually occupied by different types of fruit.

The display is most useful when it shows you several icons that are all the same. For instance, if you go for the Fourheads master romancer award and check the page you will discover that they occupy more space than any other animal in the game. The oak tree is another object that uses up lots of 'space'. It's much worse than any other tree.

Well, that clears that up.

Thank you very much!
