Default Catching em'

..Hey guys, I'm new to posting here, but I've been reading these messages here for about a week or so. I'm having some trouble catching an Eaglair(sp?) and a Dragomfly(sp?).

I've been trying to catch both at the same time, the Eaglair comes in and will eat 2-3 of my Buzzenges then leave, and do the same thing the next day. I know that there are two wild pinatas that come in for visits, but this has been goign on for the last 3 days with somewhere around 20 Buzzenges being ate.

..I don't really want to just buy or trade for these pinatas because I'd like to get em all myself (nothing against anyone who bought or traded for their pinatas) so am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks for any advice, and great website!

3 days isn't that long, since it's generally not the same Eaglair every time. Have you checked the resident requirements for the Eaglair to make sure other conditions are met, if one of the visitors has eaten four Buzzenges? Opening the visitor's Info page will help to see what's stopping them from residing.

Visitors generally leave when day (or night) ends, but will leave immediately if their visit requirements are no longer met. Make sure you've got more than 5 species in the garden, as if the Buzzenges were the 5th species and get all eaten up, the Eaglairs will take off, instead of residing.

Another "option" is to search for Roario strategy, and follow the tips in that post. It's a method you could use to "help" the Eaglairs to eat four at once, but you could also wait it out if you prefer to let them eat at their own pace.

..Hey thanks for the reply and advice. By three days I mean real days not in game days, and yea usuly i have 8 buzzenges in the garden to account for the two Eaglairs (and I also replace every one they eat by buying them from Gretchen) and about 17 different species. I don't know maybe I'm just in a bad luck streak, but I can't complain about bad luck after reading how many eggs you guys hatch to get a WC haha.
