Bart glitch

In one of my gardens I sent Bart to tinker some apples. He never showed up, and I smashed the apples so he would return to his store, but he never did. A while later I saw him in the lawn with the scarecrow (I think it is the one in front of Jardiniero's house) and he was doing something really weird. He was facing away from the garden, and he took off his hat and set it on the ground in front of him. Then, he jumped into the hat and poofed back to his original position with a cloud of dust, wearing his hat again. He repeats this process and has not stopped since. I can no longer have anything tinkered in that garden, but he still works in my other gardens so I just mail myself the things I need. I hope this helps someone.

P.S. Sorry if the post is too long, I thought it would help to be descriptive.

same thing happened to my freinds garden in the very start when he tinkered a pumpkin lol

So I paid for Bart to tinker some honey, and he never showed up! But I never got a message that he was available again, no message that he couldn't get to the honey, nothing. Now when I go back to the village, it says he is 'Out' and I don't know why... Has this happened to anyone else? I really need to tinker stuff and I don't know what to do...

As mentioned in the Glitches article, or by searching the forums, Bart can get permanently stuck in a garden. You might see him in the village field where he appears, constantly jumping into his hat.

You can tinker items in a new/different garden, where he isn't stuck, then use the Post Office to mail the transformed items to yourself. Unpack them in the garden where you need them.

Alternately, send your pinatas and houses from the stuck garden to a new/different one.

I ordered a tinker and Bart got stuck on his way to my garden. He's been there for days, and I can't figure out what to do. I got rid of the item that I ordered the tinker for, and restarted the game, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Try searching the forum before posting, as questions like this have often been asked and answered.

There's no way to free him in that garden. Tinker items in another garden, or move your pinatas to a different garden.
