Since Trouble in Paradise was first published about a year and a half ago Rare has been releasing Pinata Vision cards on a regular basis. They have recently run out of cards to distribute, but there are a couple of distinct gaps that have been left open.
We've seen cards for every type of pinata, plant, produce, prop, color variant, etc. but the obvious gaps are the Choclodocus Egg and the Amber Gem. In a quest to discover them FeralKitty has put together a series of wiki articles detailing the tech behind the barcode you find on every Pinata Vision card.
The information in the
Piņata_Vision_barcode wiki article is very technical, but in simple terms you can think of this like Jurassic Park where they took the dinosaur DNA and mixed it the DNA from other species of animals to fill in the gaps. It's just that our dinosaur happens to be a Choclodocus instead. (It's a great analogy, but I can't take credit for being the one to think it up.)
If you are a technically-minded person who likes to crack codes for fun, take a little time to read through the wiki articles and see if you can contribute anything to the project. With the help of all of you in the community we may be able to unlock the secrets behind the Pinata Vision barcode and bring this dinosaur back to life after all.
