You can buy a mine and get the diggerlings to mine for them, may take a while but eventually you should get one or like you say you can trade for one.

If you do need a blue bone I have a spare one at the min you can have.

Yeah, the bones that are spat out by the mine are randomly coloured so some ore should come out eventually.

If you wait long enough it'll throw two out of the same color. It'll throw out lots if you have it there long enough. But if you're impatient you can try to trade with someone.

Try reading the Help! Can't hatch Choclodocus egg! thread.

If you have any more questions about that, please post them there, as this thread is really about how to get the bones. Thanks!

Edit: "Can't hatch egg" posts have been moved to that thread.

Since the mine produces lots of different things, it's a bit random how long it will take to get a specific item you're looking for. If you don't get a blue bone soon enough, you can trade for one or scan one.

In case you're not aware, it's not necessary to have/use one of each color, to make the Choclodocus. In fact, you want to decide on what type you want to make, then use that specific color combination, to get that type.

There's more information about all of this at the wiki's Choclodocus article.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Sometimes it can take an annoyingly long time to get one of the two colors you want. You just need to be patient and let it happen. Just move on to getting other things done for now and let the bone thing happen on its own. Also make sure that the Diggerlings are at max candosity through tipping and that they have a home to go to at night so that they can dig for longer every day. Good luck.
