I'm having a problem with the first, and main, garden in VP. I can't get ANYONE to romance. No hearts ever show up above their heads or, if they do, it's VERY briefly shown above their heads before disappearing. The requirements have been met for romancing.
I've tried feeding them joy candy and even when they are maxed out on happiness, they refuse to romance. Romance candies don't work either. This is so frustrating too, since I'm trying to tame the Macaracoon .The strange thing is that in my other garden, I can romance them just fine. The problem is only in this one garden. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it, outside of deleting/avoiding the garden? |

How many pinatas are in the garden? When the hearts appear do they look blue?
If you answer 1. A lot and 2. yes, then you need to reduce the number of pinatas in the garden in order for them to romance. (You don't have to sell any pinatas, just get them out of the way.) Also, how many pinatas are you romancing in that garden? |

You may want to have a look at this article:
http://pinataisland.info/index.php?t...-UI-GardenFull SilverKitty's right, too many pinatas or a too full a garden means no more space for new pinatas.

I've had this happen while I was raising sparrowmints. It was my first garden so it was pretty full of easy to attract pinatas. bunnycombs, preztails, tafflies you name it. so while I was working on feeding wirlms to my mints their pink hearts would fade away. I never got a blue heart, and according to my journel I had plenty of space. So I sold a batch of my mints and a few other pinatas and the pink heart came back. After that I could romance them like normal.
Hope that helps ya!

None of the hearts were showing up as blue - Like I said, they would appear as pink, but they would only pop up briefly before disappearing.
I went in and counted my pinatas on the residents page (I'm sure there's a place that shows a number but whatever), and I had 32 residents. I was like hmm, not maxed out but lets try to get rid of some. I got rid of 5 pinatas (2 whirlms, 2 lickatoads, and a quackberry). After this, the hearts came back. YES! Answer found! Then, just as I was about to go buy some romance candies, I realized the hearts had disappeared once again. I bought some joy candies to try that again, which were promptly eaten by a Sour Macaracoon ( ). However, I then realized the hearts were back on the two Bunnycombs. Yes! So I tried to romance them and, with the hearts still on, the one shook it's head and ran off.Should I sell off MORE pinatas? Again, the hearts are still disappearing or reappearing, and there were no new pinatas coming in or anything at the time. This really has me flabbergasted. ![]() |

Update to my last reply: I sold one more pinata and tried romancing the bunnycombs again. This time they were able to romance. So perhaps it was just too full.
