This movie looks soooooooooooooo good. I really want to see it. I don't think any movie is going to beat The Number 23 though.

300 looks awesome but it looks like it has to much sex and weird stuff for me. Maybe in a year and a half and it's on TV.

I think 300 will be good.
I'm a military history-buff (and a history major), so I'll enjoy the movie's battle scenes. I wonder if King Leonidas will meet the same fate in the movie he met in real life--in which the 300 Spartans fought to retrieve their king, even after he met his end. *** In case anyone's interested, the movie depicts the Battle of Thermopylae, fought between the 300 Spartans and the Persian army, in 480 BC, in the midst of the Persian Wars--where the Persian king Xerxes tried to take over all of Greece. The Greeks lost the battle (all the Spartans perished), but they did achieve a decisive victory over the Persians at the naval battle of Salamis later that year. Finally, in 479 BC, a combined Greek army routed what was left of XerxesÂ’ army, and chased them out of Greece; thus ending the Persian Wars. Greece--and Western civilization for that matter--had been saved. in my part of town (portland,oregon) they are playing it in imax. im definately gonna see it. is anybody else's town playing it in imax?
