No season 3 for Viva Pinata?

I emailed the 4kids people just saying how much I liked Viva Pinata and when they were going to start showing new episodes ect. Then I asked if they were planning on making a season three, I was not expecting them to actually answer but they did. They said that they were not sure why, but they did know that the decision has been made to not create a third season of Viva Pinata. This is not in anyway official, that is just what 4kids said and I am not sure if it is true or not. So please take that into consideration.

WHAT! They're not going to make Season 3. They're just going to stop making Viva Pinata episodes even though they only made 52 episodes (104 episodes, in the Viva Pinata way, that's not a lot). I hope they're not going to stop the series. But if they do, the last episode HAS to be the best.

Funny, When I emailed 4Kids.tv my source told me that they haven;t heard of it being canceled, but that doesn't mean anything. She also told me that The season starts in a few months, only things that play in the summer are re-runs.

She also stated that noone would had emailed you back and said it was canceled, they would have directed you to the news page.

Its called a season because it doesn't last all year. Usually starts in the fall and end in the late winter, at least the 4kids network does anyway. There was a 5-6 month gap between season 1 and season 2 a few years ago... get it?

the 3rd season, if it does come out, wont start for a few more months. So just because you dont see new shows, doesnt mean it is over.

And again, she said you would not have been told by anyone that it was canceled, it would be announced on their site.

Seasons start in the fall, so VP season 3 would be 2008 to 2009.

I emailed 4kids the other day asking them if the information regarding there not being a season three of Viva Piñata was some sort of a mistake because I knew that someone else had emailed them and that they had told them something different. Here is what they said;

Well I just got an email back from the studio that actually animates the show, and they said they cannot confirm or deny that 4kids tv is cutting the show, but they can tell me that episodes are still being created.

this tells me 1 of 4 things:

-4kidstv doesn't know what they are talking about.
-4kidstv is not going to be airing the show anymore, but Canada's network still will
-a new USA network will be picking up the show.
-it will turn into a web-based only tv show (unlikely)

I think there IS a Season 3! There have been episodes airing in Canada that haven't aired on 4kids yet! 4kids recently aired both "Mr Unbustable" and "Too Many Fergys" which were the last Season 2 episodes aired. Next they aired Cocoadile Tears, the first episode. The reason they didn't air them? They're waiting for the Fall! I also thought I'd share some new episode names with u.

In order to bring VP back on air, you ( and if its possible, other people like your

friends, family, and other VP fans ) can write to your local FOX station

demanding VP back on air... and one more not-so-obvious thing, be optimistic

about it.

I am sure if we all write to our local FOX stations about VP, we should be

able to see it on air again.

Take Chaotic and the Winx Club for example. There were many people who

liked those shows so much that they actually something about it by writing

to their channel stations.

As a result, there were two shows of Chaotic and The Winx Club is currently

the most popular show in the Saturday morning line up.

Its really easy writing to your FOX station and should only take a few minutes

to e-mail them... and one really big tip : don't wait until the last minute like I

did.

Whatever you do, don't give up!!:)

I honasty don't think they canceled Viva Pinata in the U.S. Because I saw an episode last week, and in my t.v.'s schedule it says it's on, but not on the morning. In fact, my sister saw it at 3:00 in the morning! In my opinion, it's not canceled, but I'm guessing it will probaly be back in the morning perhaps on Season 3.

I think it's just not on for a bit because they are premiering (sp?) some new cartoons. Just give them time to work out their schedule. Maybe 4kids doesn't want to buy another contract to air the show. If so then it's most likely another station will pick it up. But you all need to stop jumping to conclusions, there has been times when it wasn't on. Last year when they had a Yu-Gi-Oh! special it wasn't on for a few weekends.
