Account Activation E-mails are not sent instantly... they are batched up and can often take up to ten minutes to arrive.
If it has been more than 10 minutes, make sure to check your junkmail folder to see if the message was marked as spam.
If it has been over an hour and you still haven't received the e-mail, then use the Resend Account Activation E-mail (http://pinataisland.info/forum/register.php?do=requestemail) link to try again.
