Knuckles looked at the Master Emerald. There was a hole in it from when Chaos, who was long gone, broke out.

Knuckles turned to Sonic.

Chaos broke out of the Master Emerald and got away. As for the shards, they went flying in that direction.

Knuckles pointed to a forest.

Sonic went speeding to the forest.

Knuckles tried to catch up, but wasn't fast enough.

Chaos, meanwhile, formed on the stairs to the Master Emerald when they left.

Silver got excited and his whole body went blue.

What's that? Shadow shrugged. Them probwy uglay! Shadow slapped his face. Chaggy glanced up at the two chaos. Them are uglay!

Lavi jumped down, followed by Onni.

You aw uglay! Shadow laughed. Chaggy, I never knew you liked to pick fights.

Lavi growled. Onni whimpered slightly.

OOC: This may be a good time to mention that Lavi has high stats.

Chaggy smiled. You're too scared of a Shadow Chao. He laughed, and Shadow picked him up. Shut up if you don't want to get hurt! That's a really rare and powerful chao right there. Chaggy glanced over and saw the chaos chao. Holy crap! He snarled at him. If my sis were here, she'd kill you!

Aqua jumped down from the tree. Chaggy, do you really think I would hurt a chao?

Lavi grinned at Chaggy.

Chaggy gritted his teeth and hissed. I'm sorry... He left out the "not" in the sentence. Aqua turned to Lavi and smiled. I'm Aqua, Chaggy's sister. Glad to meet you.

Lavi smiled slightly.

I'm Lavi, and behind me is my nephew, Onni.

Onni slowly stood next to Lavi.

Aqua smiled. Cute little nephew you have. She turned to Lavi. Do you have a home somewhere? Chaggy twitched his eye, because he didn't live with Shadow. He lived with Aqua.

Not really. Me and Onni just travel. Hes ok with it, but not when Chao breeders try capture him to make him get them Shiny Blitz chao too.

She gasped. That's horrible! A child should get a bit of time away from chao breeders! Come spend the night with me at my house.

Lavi was confused. No Hero chao had been this kind to him.

She laughed. Awesome! Follow me! Chaggy gritted his teeth and walked to their house. Aqua followed Chaggy.

OOP: Sorry, I was eating luch.

Aqua reached a GIANT oak tree with a door. She opened it with a key, and walked inside. The furniture was wood, and it had stars engraved in it. She smiled, and Chaggy grunted. I just got back from the store, and I bought marshmallows. Do you want to roast them tonight?

Sure.

Onni looked around. He had never been in a house before.

She smiled. They are really yummy. Are you hungry? I can fix dinner right now. Oh, Chaggy, can you show them their rooms? Chaggy nodded, and walked up a long staircase. They reached a room with two beds. Chaggy walked downstairs silently. Aqua came up. I'm sorry Chaggy is being so mean.

Its ok. Why is he acting like this anyway?

He's a bit of a jealous type, or maybe he doesn't like you. I'll tell him to quit it, and be nice. They heard a little beep. Oh! Our dinner is finally cooked. Come down when you're ready! She ran down the staircase, and a cheesy scent filled the air. Chaggy walked up. We're having homemade macaroni.

Lavi nodded.

Nice, my fave.

Onni stood next to Lavi silently.

Aqua put the macaroni into four bowls. SHe sprinkled bread crumbs on the top of the noodles, and gave them to everyone. She sat down, and picked up a fork. Do you like it? I'm worried that it won't be good, because this is my first time making it.

Lavi ate it fairly quickly. When he was done, he looked at Aqua and smiled.

It was nice.

Onni ate slowly, however.

Thanks. It wasn't the greatest thing ever, but it's good for my first try. Chaggy nodded. She picked up Chaggy's, Lavi's, and her dish and set them in the sink. Are you done, Onni?

Onni finished as she was taking the dishes.

She grabbed it and set it in the sink. Do you want to roast some marshmallows?

Ok. The bonfire is already setup, and the marshmallows are outside. She opened the door.

Aqua handed everyone a stick and a marshmallow. What's wrong Onni?

Oh. Well, you just seemed kinda sad. So I wanted to see if I could do anything.

Aqua's marshmallow turned a nice brown color.

Lavi pulled his stick up, to see his Marshmellow on fire.

Lavi blew it out. Only when he eat it did he realise what Aqua said. He tried to avoid talking about it though.

It tastes a bit burnt.

Onni started roasting his marshmellow.

Lavi smirked a bit. Onni pulled his stick back, and his marshmellow was on fire. However, he ate it while it was on fire.

Are you ok Onni?

My tongue's burnt a bit, but I'm fine.

Aqua stared at Lavi. Wow! Good tongue. I'm going to go to bed guys. See you in the morning. Aqua walked inside.

Lavi blinked at Aqua as she walked in.

Aqua got in her blue bed, and fell asleep. Chaggy smiled at them for once. Do you guys want to come in? It's like 10, I'm going to bed too.

Yeah, I'm gonna go sleep too.

Hm? oh, yeah.

Both Lavi and Onni walked in.

Chaggy followed them. He walked in his room and turned off the lights.

Well into the night, Lavi was sound asleep but Onni was sitting up, thinking.

Aqua got up late, and walked downstaiirs to get a drink of water. She noticed Onni. Onni, are you sure you there is nothing wrong?

I'm just thinking, thats all. I tend to think a lot.

When Onni finished, Lavi rolled out of his bed in his sleep. But of course, hitting the floor woke him up.

Ow...

Sorry I keep asking you. Smart little chao. She came back up with a glass of ice water and tripped over Lavi. I'm so sorry!

Lavi sat up.

Its ok. I shouldn't have been laying there in the first place. I think I fell back asleep on the floor...

Oh, haha. I'm truly sorry though. She cleaned up the water and went downstairs to get some more.

Lavi stood up and went downstairs, sitting in one of the chairs.

Lavi yawned and shook his head.

Lavi stayed up, since if he wakes up, he can't go back to sleep.

Chaggy and Aqua came down. Did you feel that exciting earthquake last night? Chaggy smiled. Aqua looked at Chaggy. What happened to you?

Lavi blinked at Chaggy.

I guess... I'm starting to like these guys.

Lavi's eyes widened slightly.

Good to hear...I guess.

Chaggy smiled. Going to hang out with Shadow. He walked outside. Chaggy, don't you want breakfest? She sighed. Do you guys want breakfest?

Lavi nodded, and then realised something.

I think Onni's still asleep.

A short while after that, Onni slowly walked downstairs.

Morning....

Aqua smiled. Good morning! I have pancakes and waffles. What would you like?

OOC: I really need to get back to Knux.

Onni thought.

Can I have Pancakes, please?

Meanwhile, Knuckles searched the forest.

OOP: You haven't played him in awhile.

Aqua nodded, and threw some dough on the stove. Ten minutes later, she made enough pancakes for everyone. She put the pancakes on plates and handed them to Lavi and Onni. Here's some syrup.

Chaggy was telling Shadow about how brave he was, if he ever met someone bad. Chaggy, I would consider myself bad. Like really, really bad! I AM really really bad. Chaggy grunted, and saw Knuckles. He uglay! Shadow sighed, and Chaggy ran infront on Knux. You uglay!

Both Lavi and Onni began eating.

Knuckles glared down at Chaggy.

Oh great....you again.

He smiled. The one and only- Shadow came infront of Knux. Chaggy, SHUT UP!

Other info: Chaos is somewhat of a mutated experiment. Scientist discovered preserved, frozen bodies pf ancient direwolves in the tundra, and using the reproductive cells of one of the females and male attempted to bring back the direwolf by unfreezing the cells and creating a fertile embryo, then implanting the embryo within a female gray wolf. Chaos was the only one born. At birth she looked like a normal direwolf, therefore she was a success, but the lead scientist became obsessed with trying different experiments on the pup. One of the experiments caused Chaos' colors to change, mutate wings, and grow terrible large in size and strength. Enraged by her life in the lab and by the scientist who did this to her she escaped the lab one night as part of it exploded from mixing chemicals. Watching the building being burned by flames she swore to get revenge on the human race.
Facts: Hates humans, since she is a Direwolf normally she would already be twice the size of a normal wolf, but with the experiment she grew even larger. Therefor she stands just above the height of an average sized adult. Shes powerful, so you might not want to mess with this wolf :p

In the city....at night time


Up upon the tops of the buildings a canine like silhouette flickered along swiftly. Each time a building would come to an end the figure launched itself into the air, using it's large wings to glide from structure to structure. After repeating this fo quite some time the figure finally came to a halt, standing on the egde of one of the cities tallest buildings. It was difficult to make out the creature in the darkness of the shadows, but its outline was anything but small. Two dust colored eyes could only be noticed piercing through the dark. Who and what was this gigantic creature?

The dark eyes of the creature scanned the city below. Cars zoomed by in the streets, blowing old leaves abd bags about. Many people casually walked down sidewalks and alley, shopping, chatting, and some rushing to their night jobs or other destinations.

"humans"...... A voice hissed from atop the building. Khaos' eyes glew with hatred, her fangs revealing themselves in a snarl. How the dire dispised them.

"Look at them going about all mirthfully. They act like they are such perfect beings.... how sickening.. They are the ones who transformed me into this monster, Khaos speeched to herself, giving off a low growl at the end. Then her lips spread in a treacherous smile, with fangs glistening.

Heh Heh

"No matter, I shall get my revenge on this puny race"

With one leap the direwolf beast glided down to the darkened alleys below.

As Khaos glided down to the city, leaping from the building tops, another figure passed her by. Her head snapped to the side to meet her insultor, eyes glaring eeriely. It wasn't a human, though regardless she bared her long, intimidating, fangs in response. How foolish he was to even approach the massive beast. The dire snarled, ready to sink her fangs into him, but then calls from the sidewalks caught her attention.

Khaos then shifted back to this newcommer, giving one of her frightening smiles.

"You are no human, therefor I have no desire to rip you to shreds, though continue to try me and you will be sorry.

At the conclusion of her threat Khaos leapt over his head, spreading her mutated wings and gliding into the darkness, completely dissapearing.

On a sidewalk two girls, about 20 years of age, were chatting as they just had left a shoe store. The girls were gossiping about students at their college.

"Hey you wanna know what Carly was really doing with Chad last night?"

"Sure Jen, but lets go in that alley overthere so no one overhears"

The two girls wandered casually into the alley, whispering secrets.
"Ok so.....*blahblahblahblah*

Khaos stalked within the alley, hidden by the sheer darkness. Her piercing gaze kept upon the two female humans. Khaos was not interested in their chat....no... she wanted something else. Carefully the dire advanced towards them through the shadows. The girls were laughing, completely unaware of the beastly wolf's presence. Khaos' fangs bared, taking on a slight glow through the dark.

"Wait Sarah... did you hear something?"

"No what did you hear?"

"It sounded like growling"

"Relax Jen, its probably a stray dog".

With those last words Khoas sprang from hiding, snarling wildly. The girls screamed at the sight of the beast and ran, just escaping her fangs. Khaos shifted her position swiftly and turned to block one of the girls. The girl cowered as the dire closed in, ready to make the kill.

"Dreaded human", Khaos hissed, smiling with fangs showing.

The creature suddenly dissapeared in a ray of light as Khaos was about to lunge at his throat, and she landed on nothing but cement. The dire wolf cursed under her breath, now snarling with even more rage built up. All she knew is that that bipedal animal was protecting the humans, therefor he too would be an enemy. Khaos now realized that the morning was coming, and leapt away into the shadows. She would find refuge in some woods nearby the city until night came once again. More people could easily spot her in the daytime, making her presence more known to police, animal extractors, or worse, some of the surviving scientists from the lab explosion, the ones she dreaded most.

Khaos' growling ceased once the creatures started screaming and ran out of the cave. There was a loud roar, metal sounding, and a familiar figure stormed by the cave.

-That form... could it be?-

Khaos smirked and slunk silently to the back of the cave. Mendicant would take care of those human loving traitors. The dire resumed resting within the cave until night fell once more, and the darkness could once again sheild her. Khaos left the cave, bounding swiftly towards the city in large leaps. It was on this second journey to the city she would pass by Shadow, though she was unaware of him standing atop a building as she strode silently by. Had he noticed her?
