VP LP RP is basically an RP based off of the other game "Lost Planet Extreme Conditions."

I call dibs on playing Wayne!

You can be any character you want from Lost Planet, including Akrid (Sours mutated on mass levels). Use all weapons you can, find as many Vital Suits (Mechs with cool powers, basically) as you can, and take over all data nodes that you can.

Feel free to use any character format as you can.

I have no idea what Lost Planet is all about, so I'm just gonna use my regular character.

Lost Planet is a game where the storyline takes place on a planet called "E.D.M. III" which is an ice planet. Humans gave up life on Earth to attempt life on E.D.M., but then the Akrid showed up and the humans had to retreat temporarily. Then they began creating technology to use against the Akrid and then they returned to E.D.M. to try colonizing a second time, with the subproblem of fighting the Akrid, then killing a few Akrid they found a special fuel called "Thermal energy", which when the humans found it, they were determined to fight, and certain humans didn't manage to get part of the retreat, so they stayed and now call themselves Snow pirates. Three snow pirates known as Luka, Rick, and Yuri find Wayne far out from the dome (very first level) so they get him to their hideout. Now the four (later on Yuri leaves them and a new ally sides with them) have to fight off the snow pirates and the Akrid. I haven't made it to the very end yet though. Here's our start.


A squad of soldiers were fighting off Akrid from their position. "Fire! Fire! Burn in hell!" "Wayne, get over here!" No VS's were in sight. "Let's get outta here!" Bullets were spewing all over the place, and Thermal energy was being spread across the ground.

OOC: Wayne's species = soon to be revealed, but his text color is silver.

So...many...Akrid! Chris fired many rounds of bullets into them but they still kept coming.

Two VS's entered the area, firing on the Akrid. "That saved some ammo for us." Someone with a rocket came up and blasted the top of the gateway the Akrid were rapidly coming from, just to make sure none left over come out. The gateway was completely sealed. "Let's keep moving."

[n64player]

"*SIGH* Good, I think I was running out of ammo."

[D3V0N]

*Heh heh. VS's forever.*

[n64player]

"You got another one? Possibly for me to use?"

[D3V0N]

"There's some by the garage, but there's tons of Akrid from here to there."

[n64player]

"Then I'm not gonna be able to do this alone."

[D3V0N]

"C'mon, let's go!"

[n64player]

"Let's do this!"

[D3V0N]

There was a group of more soldiers up ahead. "LOOK OUT!" A couple of the rolling-type Akrid rolled into the area. "Fire!"

OOC: This type of Akrid has a weakspot on it's tail. Each Akrid's weakspot (in the game) starts out yellow and goes to red as long as you shoot its weakspot enough.

Ah, crap!" Chris rolled to the side and fired back at them.

OOC: We need some more RP-ers and like bad.

The same person with the rocket fired at one, highly damaging it.

[n64player]

OOC: I don't know if anyone else has played LP.

"There has to be some kind of weakpoint on these things." Chris quickly glanced at the Akrid. "The tail seems kind of unprotected." Chris started firing at the tail of the Akrid and it instantly died where it stood.

"Then let's focus on their tails more often!" The group fired on the tail of the Akrid. Then when it died they moved forward.

"Hurray for weakpoints. How many more we got?"

[D3V0N]

"Dunno." Four more rolling Akrid entered the area. Everyone fired on the weakspot of all four.

"Death to all Akrid!" Chris concentrated on the Akrid's tails.

As soon as the Akrid were dead, Wayne climbed up on top of a roof, and took out his binoculars. Then he saw out into the distance a cave that was 5 blocks ahead. Then he saw another cave on the block they were at. "Hey, I think I found a shortcut leading 5 blocks ahead!" Wayne went back to ground, then entered into the cave.

*Team B is currently waiting for you on the other side of the cave* the leader of Team B radioed.

"Hey, wait up!"

The cave however had a medium Akrid infestation however.

OOC: Yo N64, You want some screenshots of what each Akrid looks like?

OOC: That'd be nice, considering I have absolutely no idea what an Akrid looks like!

"Should've figured as much."

[D3V0N]

OOC: Okay, I'll have pics in my next post.

"Fire! Fire!" Bullets started spewing all over the place again.

Chris began firing at the Akrid. "You know what I hate more than the Akrid? The fact that there's so many of them!"

A rolling one entered the area.

OOC: O_o OH...MY...GOD!!!!!! That worm is freaking creepy!

"Aim for the tail. I don't plan on staying here long."

OOC: Anything else you'd like to add?

One half of the Akrid was clear, as soon as this half of the cave was empty of Akrid. The team moved forward.

"How much longer do we got? The cold's kinda getting to me."

[D3V0N]

Wayne noticed some barrels, so he shot them.

OOC: In LP, if you blow up a barrel, there will be thermal energy.

"There ya go."

[n64player]

OOC: is thermal energy a bad thing?

"Thanks for that."

[D3V0N]

OOC: No, actually, it keeps you alive. If you run out of thermal energy, then your heatlh bar starts to go down. Main priority in Lost Planet above anything, is find as much T-ENG as possible.

"Let's keep moving when everyone is ready."

"I'm good."

[D3V0N]

"Alright then. Let's keep moving." At the moment they started to proceed, one of the Spider-like Akrid emerged from the ground. "Oh yeah, real nice!"

"*SIGH* Great..."

OOC: What's their weakpoint?

OOC: View the image of it I posted.

"Fire!"

[n64player]

"Firing!!"

[D3V0N]

By soon enough firepower caused it to fall to the ground. "Alright. NOW let's keep moving."

[n64player]

"We're gonna keep getting interrupted..."

[D3V0N]

The team started moving forward. It seemed no Akrid were up ahead. "What the.." *Team B, is there Akrid on your position?!* *Hell yeah, and lot's of 'em!*

"We gotta move faster!"

[n64player]

"Knew it!"

[D3V0N]

By soon they were coming up to the other side of the cave. Team B was pinned down by Akrid.

"This is really starting to piss me off!"

[D3V0N]

"Just be glad we got the element of surprise." Two spider Akrid and six rolling Akrid were attacking Team B.

OOC: There's four grenades when playing in campaign. The Hand Grenade, The Gum Grenade (Sticks to enemies but has the same blast rate as the hand grenade), Disc Grenade (Forgot how it works), and the Plasma Grenade (EMP radius type grenade).

Two packs of five Gum Grenades were to the side of the cave exit.

Wayne picked up a Gum Grenade and tossed it at a spider Akrid. That got half of the Akrid's attention.

"Alright then." Chris opened fire at the Akrid.

*Snow Pirate VS's, coming in from the south! Open fire on both targets!* "Damn, two enemies?!"

[n64player]

"I'm focusing on the Akrid. You guys get the VS's."

[D3V0N]

Two VS's, unknown pilots, destroyed the Akrid, and left. "Who the hell were they?"
