hey I just made the switch from the other forum. I love the format of this forum and I have just one thing to say Posts in the giveaway section should count for your post count!

Welcome to the new forum! I believe the reason why posts in the Giveaway section may not count towards your post total is because some contests/giveaways require very short posts that normally would be considered spam. I'm not positive about the post counting feature, and Jim would be the one to be positive about how it works. Thanks for the input, though! I hope you have a wonderful time on the forum!
