Buy a Captain Cuttlass from Ivor Bargain. It will keep all Ruffians and Pester out of your garden. If you are not able to purchase from Ivor yet, give Ivor the Beggar 1000 coins. Otherwise, try to bribe him out of your garden. Hope that helps.

Just buy a captains cutlass from Ivor Bargain. If you don't have enough cc's then try to bribe him with what you got.

No, you can bribe Proffeser Pester away. I've done it before. Or maybe it's just a glitch... otherwise buy the captains cutlass if one doesn't work buy more... maybe put one at the each corner of your garden. it may take up many ccs but for me the captains cutlass works by using 1.

You only need 1 captain's cutlass, I can tell you that a ruffian/pester has NEVER came in any of my gardens that had a captain's cutlass

Yeah, I know that you really only need 1 captains cutlass BUT someone I know put in one and the rafians and prof pester came in there garden still so I told them to get more and so they did and rafians and prof pester never came back in. if this happens to anybody than buy more.

I don't believe it. If Pester or a Ruffian is already in the garden when you purchase the cutlass, they may not immediately leave, but it doesn't take long.

I say level up and earn it... that Pester's a great motivator! Variants are relatively easy way to level up... and fun as gosh-darn-it-I-don't-know-what. But just when I thought Taffly's only came in one colour... bad-a-bing.
