For some reason everytime i reply to any thread it automatically subscribes me to it. Is this a default setting because it just started happening like 3 days ago.

You need to go into the user CP and into options and turn it off.

Personally I like automatically subscribing.

I had the same problem too. But, I changed both that and the emails I've been getting with PMs.

Can anyone point me in the right direction other than just the options. I just can't seem to find it.
