View Full Version : Is Viva Pinata giving us hints?

Seriously, the last to new episodes have given us like, 5 new pinatas. Are the guys at Rare giving us hints? We have a Vulture, Scorpion, Polar Bear, Yeti
Penguin, Goldfish, Cockroach, Starfish, Kangaroo, Camel AND Hyena. I would like to get a camel, though...

^ He said 'Are they giving us hints' as in, at least what I was getting, are they hinting that those are going to be in the DS game. I was saying that it's comfrmed that some of them will be in the DS Version of Viva Pinata.

It has not been confirmed that any of those species will be in the DS version.

Yes, the DS version of the game will contain new species, but we have received no indication of which species those might be.

How big can you make your gardens in the DS version? Hopefully bigger if new species are being added.

I don't think that's how it works. For one, you're not supposed to have all the species in the same garden at once, and for two, garden size probably has something to do with the systems power, if it were that easy to make a bigger garden, they would have in VP 360. Not to mention the fact that a DS is less strong then a 360.

I'd say that's a bit of a limb to go out on. Maybe a few, but I doubt all of them, if even most of them will make it.

Yeah, I don't think I'd go that far... This is of course all speculation and opinion, but I'd guess that VP for the DS is going to stay in green garden territory, and things like we're seeing on the show (snow creatures and desert creatures) will be in a true sequel game for the 360.

But... isn't the ground in this screenshot desert/sand? Might just be dirt, but still, looks like desert to me. At least I hope so. xD

Well, there is. It's called Trouble in Paradise. I've seen Penguins, Rhinos, Warthogs, Geckos, Partriges, Owls and the houses of Polar bears and Camels. I'm so excited!:D :D :D

That is sandbox mode which is quite literally a sandy area. It was revealed in some interview somewhere.
