View Full Version : Curious: Which of the new species would you like to see most in the game?
OK, so there are going to be new species of pinata in this game. There have been "spare" species piling up thanks to the cartoon and from production notes and errata - Jeli, Polollybear, Leminee, Pengum, starfish, hyena, the camel, the giraffe, the kangaroo, that crane/ostritch thinger, Petula's goldfish, and the cockroaches.
Which ones would you most like to see make it into this game? Personally, I think adding "Snow" as a landscaping tool and adding in the four arctic Pinatas would really add a lot to the game. You could have arctic/Christmas themed gardens and such.

Jeli... Can you imagine that? Having this huge yeti-pinata in your garden? I can only imagine the amount of points you'd get for that!

Turtle would be nice, it could be called tortle. Torte+Turtle (I'm not sure if torte is right, I only know anything of what is is from another series I like that had place and characters named after sweets)
Hamcake. Hamster+Hotcake (remember that one?)
Dangophin. Dango+Dolphin (Dango are these little sticky cake sort of things made from starches and pounded rice, usually three are put on a scewer)
Giraffle. Giraffe+Waffle

You know, why wouldn't a Turtle pinata just be called....A turtle? Like those chocolate candy turtles? (http://www.nestle.ca/NR/rdonlyres/6912B786-6949-4381-B0D2-F97E8F26CC1C/0/22387EngTurtlesHC400g.jpg)

Cockroaches, Lemmings, and Hyenas- OH MY!
Also, I'd like to see the kangaroo pinata in there IF AND ONLY IF they give it something like a dingo pinata as a predator at the same time... I like kangaroos, but they REALLY need a predator to spice things up.(I should note that I'm a bit of a fan of the predator species in almost everything... Videogames, cartoons, and real life included- SOMEONE'S gotta give the prey a little jolt. ;).)

To answer an earlier question:
Candy whistles are lollipops shaped like whistles. Their sticks have little slidy bits, like slide whistles. You blow into them and they really make noise! They're fantastic, but I haven't seen any in AGES...
I have a ton of pinata puns stuck in an MS Word document somewhere. Let's see... what have I got?
Golemon: Golem + lemon. No, golems are NOT Pokemon. They're men made out of mud, silly.
Phoemix: Phoenix + trail mix. I did a bunch of "mythical" pinatas...
Pegagush: Pegasus + Gushers. Gushers are fruity gummy things with sweet goo in them. This is an awkward pun.
Grifflan: Griffin + flan. Flan is a kind of custard with burnt sugar on top. Mm mmm yummy!
Centart: Centaur + tarts. Who doesn't love a good strawberry tart?
Cherwolf: Cherries + werewolf. It's much bigger than a Mallowolf, and it walks on its hind legs. One probably evolves into another.
Nessielee: Loch Ness monster (Nessie) + Nestle. This is one of my odder puns...
Fairycake: Fairy + fairy cake. In America they're called cupcakes, but the British version is better for punning.
Yogre: Ogre + yogurt. I think the ridiculous cotton-candy flavored stuff they pawn off on children these days counts as candy. What do you think?
Aliendes: Alien + Andes. I'd love an alien Pinata! I bet it's tons of fun to attract. I bet you'd have to do something like make a ring out of lights or something.
Ringpoptail: Ringtail + Ring Pop. This one came out reaaally awkwardly.
Mousse: Moose + mousse. It'd be hard to put mousse in a pinata.
And there seems to be a joke Pinata here called a "Pirollo," but that's not worth explaining.
Of the above, the ones that would actually be cool to see would be a Grifflan (Roario + Eaglair crossbreed), a Nessielee (more aquatics! Yay!), an Aliendes, and a Mousse.

Im guessing around 5 or 6 cryptids and 10 brand new.
Slowth: Sloth and slow poke.
Crickoffe: Cricket and coffe
Rat
Crane
Hyena
Armidilloat: Armidillo and oats
Hippogriff: Cross breed horstachio and Eaglair
Sodaraffe: Giraffe and soda
Goldfish
Seal
and that is all I can think of.

o ya and special garden starters purchasable from jardinero at certain levels
Aquarium: all water and is like an aquarium because the garden litteraly is a cube full of water (good for aquatics like the fish and shark ideas)
soil: patch of land with pre-whacked soil
grass: patch of land with grass
long grass: patch of land with tall grass
aquatic: garden with nothing but water

I would love to see the polollybear. I totally agree with adding snow as a landscaping tool so you can have arctic pinatas.
