Why did Rare decide for her to be called Les Galagoogoo? Everyone else has a name with the same first letter as their Pinata. (e.g. Hudson Horstachio)

Errm, Les is a boy.
But, most of us guess because at first he was to be a Lemur, but was quickly changed to a Galago.

I believe the Galagogo was based on a Bushbaby not a lemur...

In one of the episodes they mention that his full name is Lester.
I believe the Galagogo was based on a Bushbaby not a lemur...
but that doesn't explain why his first name doesn't start with a 'G'.

Maybe, in Les' language, the word for Galagoogoo begins with an 'L'?
I mean, it stands to reason that he speaks the same language as his parents, and they would be the ones that named him, right?
Makes sense to me!

Although that is an interesting possibility, jazzie, it'd be unwise for the show producers. Children can't think nearly that deep.

So, Lester was a good guy then? Was he still a Ruffian, but good, 'cuz that seems really weird to have a good Ruffian.

Interesting. That's quite weird, but Rare has never been made of sane workers.

At one point they say his full name is "Lester Galagoogoo" it could be a pun on the breed of bush baby monkey (galago, hence Galagoogoo) caller the lesser galago

It's becuase the actul animal they used is called the lesser galagoogoo. Thats why it starts with an L.
