Initial worries and hesitations

Admittingly probably everyone had some hesitations about watching the show, something that they were worried about or some such thing that made them worry about it.

Mine were all in one of the ads they ran before airing the show on 4kidstv. They were basically:

1-That the story would be what the ad suggested, that the show was a sort of contest where there were new compeditors each year and they did things to gain points or votes or something and who ever had the most at the end would be the first to be sent to a party then they'd all be shot off evetually in the order of how many points each one had(maybe the points being candies) and that once they went to a party that was it for them

2-That they would pair Fergy's anxiety with something else, I've seen this so many times in tv shows(this is part of why Viva Pinata is the first domesticly produced animated show I've watched in about 5 years). Somehow the people who make these things slave under the false impression that if you have anxiety problems that there is something else wrong as well, I know from experience anxious people don't always have somthing else wrong with them and if they do the two problems aren't nessisaraly related.

3-That there would be lots of scenes with the pinatas wearing shoes. It sounds strange but in one ad they had a scene from the episode "Legs" where you see Fergy wearing shoes while dancing and it just looked off to me.

4-That it would be like Maggie and the Ferocious Beast. I knew this one girl who lived next to me(this was when I was living in the house before my current one) she was about my age and loved the show while I found just the ads ridiculous something about the bit in one of the first ads where Franklyn says "Party Hardy" reminded me of that time.

So what about everybody else?

you also have to understand that from the start the show and the game have been represented as 2 different projects all together. but everything has to tie in somehow.

Another thing peopel forget is that the show is 3D ANIMATED. And most of the scripts were written at least a year or more befe the games release, and the shows were RENDERED at least a year before thy hit the TV as well.

This is the reason for some of the differences and extra pinatas you see in the game/show.

Maybe at one point there was a Yeti, but Rare left them out. Who knows.

It is a common misconception by most viewers that these shows are made each week, then released. If any shows are being animated and rendered at this moment, its for next season.

I have STILL yet to see an episode of it. Even the one that supposedly came on the Limited Edition disc (i still cant find it).

Mine was that I though it would be like the some of the other shows on it like Winx and Bratz, because I hate those shows. They just have no point to them, and to tell the truth I think the VP show is like them.
