How did YOU find PIF?

Although I am expecting this to be swamped with the 'I jumped over from VPF', are there any of you that DIDN'T find it from VPF of XBOX.com?

Me personally, I was just giving up on Viva Pinata (I was in the 20's on level-wise), and I came across 'Pinata Island wiki'.

I went back a couple days later, and the forum was up! Quite lucky, you might say:D

I came from VPF, but I originally went there when I had first learned about variants, and didn't want to find out everything I had to feed my pinata in order to change their colors (and also I needed a little bit of help attracting some pinata :P).... So I googled it, up came the VPF in all it's majesty. :)

Actually, I can't entirely remember exactly how I got here. I know most of it, though.
It was before I got my 360 -- so it was before Christmas of 2006...
I'd seen a lot of ads for VP on the tv, and decided that I had to play it...
So I sort of just went around searching for information.
Stuff about what piñatas were in it, how it was set up, etc.
One of the sites I found was the Wiki, if I'm not mistaken.
One of the articles linked to the forums, so I lurked for a while.
Eventually I just decided to join. =] Mmyep. Not a very interesting tale.

Yup. I found the Wiki as soon as I searched Viva Pinata as soon as I got the game. I found VPF's thru that, and used both the old forums and the Wiki all the time. And the VPF started to decline and be abandoned. Thankfully PIF was there to replace the old forums.

PIF>VPF ever was.

The really amazing thing about this site is, is that it's grown in from a 'Second place' to a 'top choice'. It's amazong how huge the community is even though it be built around a game with paper animals is in...

I think that Google was the main resource, though...certainly got me here..whether or not hat's a good thing remains to be seen :-)

I remember looking for a walkthrough or a helpguide on gamefaqs and there was none so i went to google. This wiki came up and it helped alot. About 2 months later kawigi showed up over at gamefaqs asking about the 100,000 CC roario. (i meant people SELL them for that much sometimes, Not in-game worth) He said the site had a forums so i joined. Never really posted up untill recently though. GG left about a week after i joined :(

I was looking up Viva Pinata on Wikipedia and when I got to the bottom with the external links I saw "Pinata Island Wiki" and after I clicked it I thought "They have a whole site about Viva Pinata?"

On Google I typed in something like "Viva Pinata Can a Badgesicle Swim" and Icame across Leafos' rumour page on the wiki which led me to these forums.

well the story of how i found it was one day after i had decided to get the xbox 360 but wasn't quite sure wat games to get with it i wen't on and typed viva pinata into googl and it came up with this. when i got my xbox i just joined up and this place has helped me so much

It's really funny how I got here. It started with the ad that, because of the length, I call the "pilot episode" and at the end when Fergy mentions the merchandise program. I wondered what those products were and when they would be realesed so I began to do searches for it and eventually found the section of this website that has a list of possible products. And from there noticed that there were sections on the pinatas so I marked it under favourites and evetually found this forum section.
