When is there going to be later content updates for Viva Pinata? E3 and the others have been talk about Co-op mode and a couple of the other new updates for the game.
07-14-2007, 11:08 PM
Oh shoot the threads in the wrong category. I'm sorry next time I won't mess up. Let's just stay on the topic though.
07-15-2007, 12:31 AM
To my knowledge, no DLC co-op has been officially announced..
07-15-2007, 02:32 AM
Oh, I've been hearing later in the game that within a few months there will be downloadable content with the DLC Co-op and a couple of other things. I guess it's just a rumor for now. I hoping that there will be co-op though that would be fun.
07-15-2007, 03:52 AM
We hope, but its not confirmed.

Was this possibly last E3's coverage? I know it was mentioned then but as you can see nothing has come of it.
There are no official statements on VP DLC/patches.

Man, I can't wait for the new content coming out for Viva Pinata.
A few new pinatas, DLC Co-op, and more. Anyone got news on the content yet?:D

You're way too optimistic ;)
BIGsheep and co. will tell us when it comes.
08-06-2007, 11:14 AM
Yep, IF and when it comes...we will be among the first to know.
08-06-2007, 11:17 AM
Ok, 1. Thanks for the answers and 2. Dark Memento, I am not not way too optimistic. Ive never been this optimistic before though.
08-06-2007, 11:45 AM
People are getting very sceptical over it...people are starting to think the accessory packs are classed as VP's DLC.
I-and many here on PIF- are staying strong about this though. I myself believe that it will come, but because RARE have been slaving away at the DS version.
Hope that helps.
08-06-2007, 05:27 PM
but because RARE have been slaving away at the DS version.
I was to understand that said slaving was done by the handheld team, and not our beloved (Banjo?) team.
08-06-2007, 07:58 PM
yeah but what if the expansion pack isnt true
08-06-2007, 09:20 PM
Then it isn't true...
08-07-2007, 04:56 AM
I was to understand that said slaving was done by the handheld team, and not our beloved (Banjo?) team.Banjo is currently in production (as announced at E3 2006) but although the VP team does have members from previous Banjos, we are not the current Banjo team.

I DEMAND DLC WITH MORE GARDEN SPACE:mad:
my elephanilla keeps squshing everything and im sick of it and my pinatas get sad and giant houses are in the way
dont worry im not protesting and im not really not angry im accually sad:cry:
sorry about the font size
garden space dlc like a garden space so big you could go behind the villige and at the end of the desert and visit pinata centrel
it should be set out somthing like this
garden space 1:2.5 x biggeer than the biggest space jardinero give you
garden space 2:2x bigger still than garden space 1
garden space 3: 2x bigger than garden space 2
garden space 4:the size of what is mencioned above on the first 2 lines

^ If you want more garden space, then just choose to set up a 'New Garden' rather than 'Load Garden' when you've loaded up Viva Pinata.
Then just move certain pinatas into the new garden by putting them in crates from the post office and sending it to yourself. Once you've sent it go into the new garden and unpack it there.
Although you'll need to put another Captain's Cutlass in the new gardens if you want to keep the Ruffians and Pester away.

i just had a thought if the pollyolly bear is going 2 be in the expansion pack wouldnt that mean u need snow so if hes the the pack theres a new terrain
08-09-2007, 02:13 PM
i hope the update comes with jelis and artic sort of animals
08-09-2007, 02:25 PM
I just hope there's an update. And I think it's funny to refer to "the expansion pack" as if it's something that exists and you can ask useful questions about :-)
08-09-2007, 02:49 PM
I'm just hoping for the new online features...
08-09-2007, 02:56 PM
The only thing I hope is an update to fix some glitches like the invisible pinata glitch. Or when you press down on the D-Pad you will go to the Journal.
Or a VP Demo in the Netherlands :)
08-09-2007, 04:53 PM
also more garden items and more usefull items like red eye rainbow cutlass you only need 1 to stop enimy pinatas from fighting
08-21-2007, 08:05 PM
I was looking at the Cryptid section on PIF a little bit ago, and noticed something. 3 of the as of yet unavailable pinata are snow related (Pollybear, Pengum, Jeli). Could this possibly mean downloadable content including them and some sort of snow terrain? I also noticed the picture of the Pollybear shows a home (probably from the show) for it, an igloo with a pollybear sign. Could this be a forshadowing of content to come? Also, please do not post that they are all going to be in an upcoming episode. I know this.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT CLAIM TO KNOW ANY FUTURE CONTENT. THIS IS ALL JUST SPECULATION.

Man has this idea been thrown around alot before.
08-21-2007, 08:41 PM
Wow. I have a bad habit of making horrible threads. Thanks for telling me.
08-22-2007, 03:46 AM
Hey, it's not a horrible thread it has just been seen mentioned before.
The thing is we still produce content for the 4Kids show. Anything they want we have to approve or even concept for them and so things are going to crop up when they try something different that haven't appeared in the game.
We have in theory got 160 different pinatas in our big book here, not all made the cut but some may get cameos on TV.
08-24-2007, 04:19 AM
anymore downloadable content for this game? the reason i ask is because well it is a VERY fun game but it does get boring after a while so maybe some downloadable pinatas maybe? :D :D :D :D
08-24-2007, 04:42 AM
This gets asked and answered several times a month.
There's nothing announced regarding DLC.
08-28-2007, 06:16 PM
I can tell though cause Iv'e seen everyone ask this alot. So I decided to myself.
