I went to my local Moviestop (owned by Gamestop) and they have the vivapinata series 1 coming out on DVD later this year. Anyone else heard about this?

What kind of info did they have? Was it a sign in the store? Or just some listing of all upcoming releases?

O wow, DVD would pretty cool. I guess it's just natural progression;

Don't quote me on this, but I believe as of right now it is only in US and Canada.

I realize this thread is pretty old, but I was just wondering if this has been confirmed yet or not. Despite the fact it probably isn't normal for my age group to watch cartoons as much as I do, Viva Piņata in particular, it doesn't change the fact I enjoy them and would probably buy all the VP seasons.

There's a Global TV Schedules sticky in the VP for TV forum, which highlights where the show is airing. I know it's appeared in the UK already. You'll find another thread in that forum about Australia, but I can't recall if it's come out there yet or not.

I don't know if you were responding to me or treacles, but in case it was me I just wanted to make my statement a little more clear for future readers. I worded it pretty bad, I apologize. What I was attempting to ask was if it has been confirmed that the seasons will be sent to DVD yet or not.

We tend to miss out in the UK - we never got Invader Zim, for instance, and waited nearly twenty years for a proper version of Studio Ghibli's Nausicaa (the 'Warriors of the Wind' VHS was over twenty minutes short) - so any release will take some time. I don't watch many cartoons, or anime, any more though.

EDIT: It is nearly six o'clock here though, the show is on at seven (I believe) so I will watch it today in honour of this thread - I do hope it isn't one I got free with the limited edition game, it gave away how to evolve a Zumbug! :mad:

Would the DVD be distributed by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment or Funimation Entertainment?

I really hope it is, they used to have loads of episodes on the Xbox Live Marketplace but they removed them all besides two of them =(
