Thats the main reason why I am currently not active on any game.

3 RED LIGHTS OF DEATH

Damn I miss my 360, currently playing some old games on the xbox and it aint funny, its miserable.

At least microsoft are trying to do something about it now I guess.
Oh well I imagine ive got a month to go before I get it back. :(

Awesome! I was one of the people that also complained that the 360's should last longer then some (alot) do. Though I have never had the 3 red light (knock on wood) I think it is crazy how the 360's lifespan seems to be very short and Microsoft only gave you an one year warrenty on it.

This is the best news I've heard from microsoft. I am on my 5th YES FIFTH! 4 of them have died before the one I have now! The first one died in under 3 hours and it was a Christmas Present from my girlfriend, the second one died after a week, the 3rd one arrived already flashing the red lights so that one was dead already, and the 4th one lasted the longest... 2 months and broke down on my birthday! What sucks is I had 2 new games that my girlfriend bought for me that I COULD'NT play. It was real frustrating and through all my troubles microsoft felt that the most they could do is give me 3 months of free xbox live. Wow atleast now I don't have to worry about shipping costs, now that the warrranty is 3 years.
