Anyone listen to the white stripes?

Anyway, if you're out there, have you gotten their new album? What do you think of it? Some of the songs I love but others I dislike (which is odd, because until now I've never disliked a white stripes song)

Love conquest, though. I want to make an animation to that sometime.

Nah icky thump was kinda like the new linkin park album Its just a little off. I love the white stripes especially since they produce their own stuff (at least they used to) in their garage/recording studio. But all around its pretty good.

mill I dunno about the linkin park album, because I don't listen to them, but I agree... just a little off. Still fresh, though.

The old linkin park was in Majority "harder" rock and screaming while their new album has about 4-5 hard songs and the rest are quiet and really soft. I actually prefer their soft ones on this album than i do the others. Except they made a polical-esque rap song called "Hands in the sky" i believe which usually immediately turns me off from the song but it wasnt all that bad. They drop the F bomb loads more than usual as well.

But back on topic now ya its just a little different :) good different though

Linkin Park is not hard rock at all. Hard rock is Atreyu, Godsmack or Tool.

As a bass player I can say I don't like the White Stripes. But hey, thats me.

I didnt say they WERE hard rock i said that they were HARDER i wasnt comparing them to other bands just their typical sound. Stupid internet cant convey meanings.. Tool is awesome btw
