Here's a poll. Pick the rating that is the "highest" you go when picking movies.
Example:
If I could watch NR, G, PG, and PG-13 movies, I'd select PG-13.
The scale:
G - Guidence
PG - Parental Guidence
PG-13 - Parental Guidence for Thirteen and up
R - Restricted
NC-17 (X) - Not for Children under Seventeen

I watch mostly PG-13, but whenever I go with friends we may see R or something. Just depends on whats out really.

Well it's either R or PG lol. :P I'm guessing R since you watch Heroes and that definately isn't PG lol.

I was thinking: Either you're going toi figure that out or you don't pay much attention.
But that mystery shall never be revealed.

I was wondering why NC-17 was not an option in the poll 8)

Without my parents PG-13 is the highest I can see. I've seen plenty of R-rated movies, I just need parental permission or with my parents.

I just sneak in to R's. :D
But mostly for those good movies that are R, not those cheap gory ones. Movies like "Children of Men" I will sneak in to see.

It depends why the movie is rated R, but sometimes my parents let me watch R sometimes not, so I said PG-13

I'm 19, so I guess my parents trust me enough to let me see R-rated movies.
Plus, two of my favorite movies of all time--Saving Private Ryan and Enemy at the Gates--are rated R.

You seem to be a very mature person, Spartan, so I'm sure that your parents will let you see R-rated movies without permission in no time.

About 70% of the movies I see are PG-13, mostly because I like those stupid comedies, like Talledaga Nights. But if there is a good R-rated movie out like Blood Diamond, me and my dad usually go and see it some night. Still no R-rated comedies  Wedding Crashers forever mocks me...

Being 27 I can pretty much what I want these days although technically I should check with parents before seeing any PG movies. We have a slightly different classification in the UK:
U - Universal
PG - Parental Guidance
12 - Not for 12 and below
15
18

I watch all kind of ratings; however, my religious sect isn't keen on rated "R" titles. I will say that I do not watch horror movies, even though they rank the highest in box office sales.

I'm allowed to watch whatever I want, since I'm 19 and therefore old enough to. XD;
Doesn't mean I do, but it gives me lots of options.

I mainly watch PGs and below but because the FnF Series and The Simpsons Movie are PG-13 I voted for PG-13.

I'm with you Bearz, I watch mostly all the time G's and PG's being 10. I'm only allowed to watch PG-13's if its something like The Simpsons Movie, Dodgeball, etc. I've never seen an R movie...yet.

i said pg-13 cuz that is mainly what i see, but i do see some that are rated R like Borat but quite frankly i prefer pg-13 cuz R is just either non-stop sex or violence or both

Even though I'm still a minor, I'm allowed to watch any and every rating.
Parents think I'm mature enough to watch what I want to.
I'd probably say I end up watching more PG or PG-13 movies, though.

I thought that with films rated 12 you had to be 12 or over if you're unaccompanied.

12A, means people under twelve can see it...with a parent.
I just do a Tauron, in that I bluff for any movie.
My best example was being 13 and getting into Life of Brian

I'm not sure what I would qualify as, I'm 16 and also gifted so I've been able to (to some extent) watch PG 13 videos since I was about 11 so if I wanted to, I could probably (as long as I got someone older to rent them) watch any rating of movie, but there aren't many videos rated above PG 13 because the content generally doesn't interest me (expliced just doesn't look that interesting to me) but I may not be the best person to ask, after all, I agreed with Kate Monster from Avenue Q (It's musical theater show done with puppets, I haven't seen it but I've heard so of the songs) at least about the internets "purpose". So, I put myself under PG 13, because I'm not interested in R moveis, or as I like to call them "Freud Films"

I can watch any rating I want to, but I mainly watch U's, PG's and 12's, with the occasionally 15. I rarley watch 18 films because they're nonstop shooting, sex etc most of the time, with little to no imagination (with few exceptions, but can't think of them off the top of my head..)
EDIT: One awesome 18...Blade 2! anyone else seen this? one of the few I do like

Infinity, "G" means General Audience...
I was wondering why NC-17 was not an option in the poll 8)
Because we're all pretty darn sure that we cannot EVER watch those types of movies even if we tried. Remember, it is the highest rating for a movie. And besides, there are a few of those movies anyway.
