Hello im just wondering does it matter what kinda of fertilizer you use?

Some fertilizer works on specific plants while others don't. The special fertilizer at Ivor Bargain's shop works on all plants.

odd to me was I was using the right color fertilaizer but still getting the buzz buzz on a bush. The bush next to it worked /boggle

Were they both at the same stage of growth (i.e. just budded)? Bushes are a bit like trees -- you've got to fertilize at a specific time.

Fortunately, there's no penalty for over-fertilizing (except for the cost of the extra doses). So, if you fertilize too early, you can reapply it.

Just keep in mind that the IVOR Special Mix is pretty cheap, so in some cases, it is cheaper and quicker to just use that instead of the matching color fertilizers.
