WCC Gears of War Contest!

Hey, all you Gears fans out there! Are you ready for a Gears of War Tournament? Well, the WCC will be hosting one for a Fundraiser! So, get your shotgun loaded and prepare for some hardcore fighting!


How this is going to work:
Each match will be 1 on 1 in either Raven Down or War Machine. The host gets to decide what map they will be playing on. Each contestant will have a chance to host. There will be 7 rounds played. I will pick a number one through ten and the persib who is the closest gets the extra hosting round. I will put trust in the contestants, but if there is conflict, the match will be redone with one of the WCC members to watch it. The entrance fee will be 100k. A bracket system will be used! I will keep the bracket up-to-date and post the updated one regularly.
Matches will Begin NEXT Saturday (June 2nd)



Rules:
Each person who is playing must pay the 100k CC Entry Fee.
Each person will have to oppurtunity to host once.
You may use any weapon you want.
You may not have any one help you or even be in the match unless it is a WCC Caretaker or Special Helper who is monitoring the match
ABSOLUTELY NO GLTICHING. AND YES, THE WEAPON SLIDE IS A GLITCH.

Because if we allowed every map, it would be WW3 between the 2 contestants fighting over the map. This way, everyone can have a fair shot. If someone was playing on garden then someone else played on raven down, it wouldn't show the same skill level, because they are 2 completely differnt styles. I chose War Machine and Raven Down because one is made for 1 on 1 basically, and the other is good for special weapons.

I think several of those rounds were mostly with shotgun, and a couple were with some frags too.

I love it when people think they're sneaky and tag me in the back and I turn around to shoot em then I follow them :D

id join ya but i changed the room that i sleep in haha and so i need to relocate my ethernet cable by doing some DIY constuction and i need to buy more live, also ill be away racing motos on that weekend so i cant join this one but if you have another one in the near future count me ill make sure that boomshot drops ya even if it is slow haha!

Boomshot is an awsome weapon, but they ruined it by letting it down people. It's a Rocket, it should not knock people down.

for sure, if the splash is anywhere near them they should be gone. You only get 2 shots for a reason.

I'll play you. We should rotate the person who is the lone ranger AND host. One map does not show the true nature of the player. I have taken on Melon 2-on-1 and came back from a 4 - 0 in a best of 5. I think that we should all play a little before we do this of course. I am MUCH better once I warm up.

Edit: Wait. We're betting cc on this match? No, I won't bet cc on a match that I can't host since I usually host. I am not used to the lag. I will play you for bragging rights only.

My challenge was intended to have a little fun...don't take it so Seriously... ;)

We don't need any lone rangers...I'm okay with me against you two. Me being host slightly makes up for your 2-on-1 advantage. Good 2-on-1 maps would be Gridlock, War Machine, Raven Down or Clocktower. Playing a few warm up rounds wouldn't be a problem.

The CCs I was willing to go double-or-nothing on are the ones I sent for the entry fee for this contest. The bet was meant to make this a little more fun. If you don't want to bet, that's ok.

Tell you what...I'll be on tomorrow night at 8:00 central (GMT-06:00). If one or both of you want to play me, hit me up with a FR and we'll play.

Meh. I wasn't taking it too seriously. At least I didn't think so. I just pride myself in my Gears ability I guess. I don't want to do poorly. I am a perfectionist per say.

Not to bring my sex into it, but not many girls play Gears. I just like knowing that I am as good as the boys.
