Well "Rocket to Nowhere" is set to air on March 10, and it's only two episodes behind abominable jeli so we'll find out soon I suppose :P

I predict that it'll go down the same way as the chewnicorn episode, they give up saying " there really is no such thing as jelis " only to see the jeli right at the end.

I think it'd almost be unreasonable to assume he does work on the show :-)

I think jimmcq is operating under the impression that there is some collaboration going on between the people who make the game (Rare) and the people who make the cartoon (4Kids Entertainment) are in close collaboration to ensure some level of consistency between them. I believe that's true, but I also think it's unlikely that a developer would be Rare's contact point for that sort of thing - it'd probably be someone in design, program management, or higher management, or it could even come from the Microsoft side of things.

I know that he doesn't work on the show, but folks at Rare have mentioned that they have "Cartoon Days" where they all get together and screen early versions of the cartoons while they're still in production to approve them before they are finalized.

Oh we do get to see them (just as well as the cartoon has only just launched over here), I just haven't seen the one people are on about yet.

I don't know if it's come out yet over there in the States but keep your eye out for a film noir episode. Very classy.

"Pecky Pudgeon, Private Eye" aired a couple weeks ago... I liked the style of it, especially because it was such a contrast to all of the bright colors in every other episode.

On the Jeli thing, I wanna see a Snacker. The old PI (Without the forum) had info about secret pinata, and Snackers and Breegulls were named (Breegulls are from Kameo, right?)

Both Snackers and Breegulls are from Banjo-Kazooie so I doubt we'll ever see them in Viva Pinata, but both are mentioned in the encyclopedia descriptions of pinata accessories.

As mentioned above Kazooie is a Red-Crested Breegull, and Snackers are the sharks from Treasure Trove Cove.

Like my other guides, I have seen many common questions. Lately, there have been many questions pertaining to "Jeli"s.



First off, I would like to state that they DO NOT excist. You can't make one appear, because they don't excist. You can't make on visit, because they don't excist. You can't make one reside, because they do not excist. you can't make two romance, because they do not excist.

Jelis have been rumored to be in any DLC we might get, although there is no confirmation of DLC or a Jeli (If DLC comes). There are pictures of what a Jeli looks like in the T.V. show, which may give a hint to what it could like like if it where implimented into the game.

The Jeli is featured on the TV show, but is not in the Xbox 360 or Windows version of Viva Pinata. The DS version will have some new species, but we don't know if the Jeli will be one of them.

Even if you were able to get it, it would still be impossible to even become a resident. As you said it has to eat one of every pinata, but the Dragonache is uneatable, so technailly, nobody would have a Jeli real or not. Also if the Dragonache was eatable, you would of wasted a Dragonache on an imaginary pinata (according to VP1)

Oh no, you're definitely not alone. I believe I was the first to post the picture of the Jeli (I could be wrong, though), and I remember distinctly complaining on how it looked nothing like the fanart version (And Pink of all colors!).
